Hello, everyone. This is my first time visiting the Woodshed in many years. Despite the infrequency of my visits, on those occasions when I have visited, I found this community extremely helpful.
Anyway, I recently purchased a copy of Stefan's 1998 CD "Shake that Thing." (I acquired most of my Shanachie titles in early 90's, so it's been a while). I have songbooks for almost all of my previous purchases. I remember on one of the last titles I bought - can't remember which one it was - there was no songbook included, but I was able to acquire one by asking the correct questions here (I don't remember the details, that was at least ten years ago).
Well, in the liner notes to "Shake that Thing," Stefan mentions "I have also prepared a tab/music book that features all the arrangements." I can of course write to the mailing address he provides, but I thought it might be more efficient to inquire here. I've poked around on the website (and in the Woodshed to see if this question has already been answered) a bit, but could not find it anywhere, either for sale or as a pdf download.
Can someone here steer me in the right direction? I'd appreciate it greatly.
I'll probably get started with "All my Friends are Gone," a song I first heard on my "Stefan Grossman" station on pandora.com. I guess Stefan has them to thank for the sale of this particular copy of "Shake that Thing."
I remember my first contact with Stefan. I had just heard "Descending into the Jaws of Change" for the first time and greatly desired the tab for that. I wrote to "Stefan Grossman's Guitar Workshop," and Stefan wrote me back personally with answers to my questions. I thought that was very cool indeed.
