Are we ever likely to see tutorial DVDs by Tommy Emmanuel on SGGW ?? I feel he would make a strong addition to the tutor team and could demonstrate some excellent arrangements and playing techniques/methods. Cheers Steve

Tommy has several DVDs being released by Mel Bay Publications in the next few months. Check his website for details.

Oh what a fool i am. Few years back a friend of mine who was a support act on one of Tommys concerts invited me to come to the concert. Foolishly i coudnt be
bothered thinking its just one of those overrated acoustic acts even though id never heard his music. How biased can one get. After listening to his music im
now a fan who is looking out to buy Tommys CDs any recommendations folks. I've learnt my lesson never to judge a book by its cover. I would have had the
opportunity to meet the man himself. Oh well such was my fate.

Yeah, we all make mistakes
I made the same one a bunch of years ago. Trick is to not make the same one more than once..... or at least not time and time again. The new Eman Labor DVD kicks some royal butt. A superb learning tool as well as entertainment. His site provides tab...which you sort of need unless you are REAL GOOD at watch, learn and listen. (As Steve James used to say in class...his nice way of saying SHUT UP!) |
